About us
Rare Dementia Support (RDS) is a UCL-UCLH-led collaborative service offering specialist social, emotional and practical support services for individuals living with, or affected by, a rare dementia diagnosis. Our vision is for all individuals with, at risk of or supporting someone with one of these forms of dementia to have access to information, tailored support and guidance, and contact with others affected by similar conditions. RDS is provided by the Dementia Research Centre at the Queen Square Institute of Neurology and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and partners.
The Rare Dementia Support Centre, set to open in Summer 2025, will serve as a central hub for these services, furthering our mission to provide comprehensive care and support.
