About the role

The Pilot Plant is a large area of the Science & Innovation Centre, Hull, which contains varied and complex equipment that is used by the Reckitt R&D teams to create innovative solutions for our customers.



The role is based in the cGMP Formulation Warehouse in the S&IC, Hull, UK. The role provides a unique opportunity for a Raw Material Assistant to be part of a team that supports small-scale product development, clinical manufacture and scale up activities.



The role involves working across the formulation community primarily CTSG & R&D teams and Manufacturing sites for Raw material related activities.

Your responsibilities

Manage warehouse materials through LIMS workflow, including booking, labelling, and assisting with disposition.

Actively manage GMP and safety documentation and engage in 5S Housekeeping of the GMP Warehouse.

Conduct sampling and identification testing of raw materials.

Contribute to Deviation and change control management, including initial investigation, Implementation actions and CAPAs.

Transfer raw materials to the Pilot Plant and Formulation lab for campaigns and project work.

Serve as the SME for warehouse procedures.

Contribute to the creation and revision of SOPs and workflows to improve process efficiency and compliance.

Coordinate the service, maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and support campaign planning as needed.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project needs.

Follow all health and safety requirement and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Primarily a site-based role with some flexibility for remote work in line with business needs.

The experience we're looking for

Forklift experience or willingness to learn as the job requires forklift usage.

Experience with LIMS and/or SAP for inventory management within pharmaceutical and/or OTC industry.

Strong understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements for raw materials in pharmaceutical and/or OTC product manufacturing

Experience within a Quality Management System (ideally with Qualityone application).

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance
