About Leo Cancer Care
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. With around 1 in 3 people diagnosed at some point in their lives, it's a challenge that touches us all. Radiation Therapy is a cornerstone of cancer treatment - around 50% of all cancer patients should receive it. Yet, due to the cost, size, and complexity of conventional equipment, millions of people globally are unable to access this life-saving care.
Conventional Radiation Therapy involves a patient lying on a table while a large machine rotates around them, delivering radiation beams from various angles to target the tumour. Many patients describe this experience as passive and disempowering, feeling like passengers during their own treatment journey.
Leo Cancer Care was founded with a clear mission:
to bring a more human approach to cancer treatment
- one that empowers patients and puts them at the centre of their care. By shifting from supine to upright patient positioning, imaging, and treatment, we are creating a paradigm shift in Radiation Therapy. Our goal is to improve accessibility, quality, and dignity in cancer care across the globe.
We are looking for enthusiastic, driven individuals to join our passionate team. At Leo Cancer Care, you'll work alongside a world-class team developing the treatments of tomorrow. Our work spans multiple disciplines, all united by a shared commitment to driving meaningful change in the lives of cancer patients.
