We are looking for a skilled
Full Stack Software Developer
to join our collaborative Research & Development group at the
Harwell Science Campus
near Oxford, UK. In this key role, you will work alongside firmware, hardware, quality, and data science engineers to develop commercial web-based spectroscopy applications used by laboratories worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional
R&D teams
to design, implement, debug, test, and document new software features and applications.
Develop high-quality solutions using
.NET
and
Angular
within an
Agile SCRUM
framework.
Transform market requirements and technical specifications into innovative, user-friendly applications.
Contribute to system architecture,
API design, web UI, database integration, and DevOps processes.
Participate in code reviews, test-driven development, and structured project planning to ensure excellence.
Qualifications
------------------
Proven experience: 5+ years as a software engineer using a range of technologies. Exceptional candidates with less experience will also be considered.
Strong proficiency in
C#
and modern front-end development with Angular (or similar frameworks).
Experience in
API design,
web page design, databases, DevOps, and test-driven development is highly valued.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and communicate across multidisciplinary groups.
Willingness to work at least 3 days per week on-site
in Harwell

about new software technology, instruments, applications, and consumables. You have
communication/ interpersonal skills
