Ayming UK is looking for an R&D Manager to join our thriving team in the heart of London.

Your main responsibilities will be :



Advisory Role:

Provide specialist advice on R&D tax reliefs to clients, acting as the final escalation point and ensuring feedback enhances learning and knowledge sharing.

Expertise:

Leverage expertise in tax, people management, communication, and client-facing skills to cultivate strong relationships and retain satisfied clients.

Team Management:

Lead a team of 5, fostering an environment conducive to peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, and oversee complex claims and client projects.

Startegic Involvement:

Stay ahead of industry trends, share expertise as a subject matter authority, and collaborate cross-functionally to uphold quality, support business development, elevate the department's profile, and spearhead innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Education & Qualifications

: STEM or Finance degree, with added value from ATT/CTA or project management certs like APM/PRINCE2.

Experience

: Minimum 3 years in R&D tax or similar, including 2+ years in a leadership role; HMRC interaction is a must.

Industry Knowledge

: Solid grasp of R&D tax credits (SME/RDEC) and relevant laws.

Skills

: Strong analytical thinking, project management, and clear communication; ability to lead teams and handle clients effectively.
