Job Description

As a Reach & Counter Balance FLT Driver your role is crucial to the business, you will effectively be the person loading and unloading all vehicles all goods to and from our warehouse to match the relevant paperwork. You will work as part of the warehouse team and during any quiet times you will be needed to pick in the warehouse and will also require a Reach truck licence. The loads consist of unusual sizes and therefore a degree of load planning is required for this position.

Position Responsibilities

To ensure the yard runs efficiently and effectively we expect all warehouse staff to be able to meet the following requirements:

Check incoming and outgoing goods for missing or damaged goods load goods in the correct manner for the weight and height of the material and according to the vehicle requirements Move goods from the correct locations Keep all areas in the yard clean and tidy Receive, store and send goods out as per picking instructions.

A general education with Maths and English

Ability to work alone as well as part of a team

Ability to complete paperwork

Reach & Counter Balance FLT Licences

Polite manner and comfortable working with other people

Physically fit as there is some manual handling

This is a day shift Monday to Friday, normal hours are 8am to 5pm but some early starts may be required.

Knowledge or experience in -

Warehousing & configuring and loading abnormal loads Working in a fast paced environment. Good attention for detail. Self motivated to work hard and get the job done.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
