Reach Truck Driver

Job Description

Cooneen Group are looking for an experienced and Reach Truck Driver to join our warehouse team in Wrexham. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise, ensuring all goods are handled safely and efficiently. You will also assist with general warehouse duties to maintain smooth operations.


What You'll Do




Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse. Load and unload deliveries with speed and accuracy. Transport pallets to storage locations and retrieve stock as needed. Conduct stock checks and support inventory control. Ensure all goods are stored securely to prevent damage. Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company policies and Health & Safety regulations.

What We're Looking For




Hold a valid Reach Truck Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR). Experienced Reach Truck Driver or similar warehouse role. Solid understanding of warehouse operations and stock control. Sharp eye for detail and accuracy. Team player who follows instructions efficiently. Comfortable using IT systems to update stock. Strong commitment to Health & Safety standards.

Essential Skills & Experience




Having a valid Reach Truck Licence. GCSEs in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent experience. Proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively under supervision. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and identifying any imperfections. Good command of English to follow instructions and comply with Health & Safety procedures. Highly organized with strong time-management skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Be willing to undertake a DBS check

Desirable Skills & Experience




At least 6 months of experience in a stores or warehouse environment. Familiarity with IT-based stock management systems. Previous experience in a similar operational role. Knowledge and experience in handling and storing similar products.
