VP React Developer - FX - Investment Banking
One of our banking clients is looking to hire an experienced React Developer to work on a long term project within its FX business. They are gearing up for a game-changing platform launch in 2025, transforming the way they work and leaving outdated systems behind. Candidates will require:

  • Strong commercial background in React.js
  • Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks and libraries.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or Context API.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based real-time systems.
  • Understanding of GraphQL (optional but a plus).
  • Proficiency in unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Redux DevTools).
  • Experience with optimising React applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for staying updated on the latest React and frontend technologies.
