Overview

Aquevo is seeking an experienced and versatile Reactive Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join our growing operation. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on fast-paced problem-solving, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and enjoys working across a wide variety of sites and clients.

You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality plumbing solutions across commercial and domestic environments, collaborating closely with our drainage and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including taps, valves, water heaters, pumps, and pipework Attend reactive call-outs across London and surrounding regions o Install and assemble pipes, fittings, water supply systems, and heating lines Carry out soldering, welding, and pipe-system assembly using hand and power tools Identify leaks, blockages, faulty components, and system failures Support drainage engineers with plumbing-related tasks when required Conduct preventative maintenance and advise clients on best-practice solutions o Transport tools, equipment, and materials using company vehicles Maintain accurate job records and deliver professional customer service

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in plumbing (domestic and/or commercial) Strong knowledge of pipe installation, soldering, fittings, and system troubleshooting o Familiarity with copper, PVC, PEX, and steel pipework Mechanical aptitude for diagnostics and repairs Strong communication and customer-handling skills Carpentry skills (beneficial but not required) Full clean UK Driving License (required) CSCS, Unvented, Gas Safe, or City & Guilds qualifications (advantageous)
