Dr Khokher & Partners, Queens Park Group Surgery are looking to welcome a read coder/medical records administrator to our administration team. This position is offered on a 6 month fixed term contract, full or part-time hours are considered.
We are a busy team and help make a positive impact to our practice of 23,500 patients located on three sites in Bedford.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information / medical data into clinical system.
Scanning patient information into computerised records i.e. medical documents, hospital records and letters as necessary.
Retrieving paper notes as requested.
Actioning tasks set by clinicians and practice manager.
Reviewing and summarising medical records.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional/alternative hours to cover for colleagues.

Experienced medical administrators, with excellent IT and typing skills
Experience of SystmOne clinical database
Adaptable and friendly with strong administration, time management and organisational skills.

Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain high level of attention to detail when under pressure.
Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently.
