Readymix Concrete Driver (Class 2 HGV)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the leading supplier of site-mix and ready-mixed concrete in the Eastern Region! At Eastern Concrete, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality concrete solutions from our plants in Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Norwich and Leiston.

As an Readymix Concrete Driver (Class 2 HGV), you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers across Leiston. This full-time role offers

45 hours per week

, Monday to Friday. Plus an annual salary between

32,572.80 to 36,816.80

, including overtime

Desired Skills & Experience:

Hold a Class 2 HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC. You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed Excellent time and communication skills are essential Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships Knowledge of Leiston roads would be beneficial Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of Readymix concrete to various locations. Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition. Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive. Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail. Assist Plant Supervisor as required.
