Readymix Concrete Driver (HGV Class 2)

Are you an experienced Readymix Concrete Driver in Leiston looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! Eastern Concrete is on the hunt for a skilled individual to join our dynamic team.

As a Readymix Concrete Driver (HGV Class 2), you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers across the East of England. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Plus an annual salary between

32,572.80 to 36,816.80

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to a variety of customers in Suffolk. Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition. Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive. Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail. Assist Plant Supervisor as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Hold a

Class 2 HGV Licence

with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC. You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed. Excellent time and communication skills are essential. Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships. Knowledge of Suffolk roads would be beneficial. Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties.
