Requirements for this job:
An understanding of Supported Employment 5 Stage model, and "Place, Train and Sustain"
A relevant qualification, degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent experience in Supported Employment or a similar role.
Knowledge of REAL employment, how it functions and the routes into, and the opportunities available to vulnerable adults.
Experience of working in a role that promotes employment and being solution focused.
Ability to communicate effectively both written, presentations and verbally, including influencing and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with agencies and employers
Have the ability to work effectively on own initiative, with minimal supervision.
Proven experience of supporting or advocating for adults with learning disabilities or vulnerable groups
You will be required to work flexible hours, possibly including occasional evenings and you may also be required to travel to various locations in order to carry out the duties of the job.
This role involves travelling to various locations in order to carry out the duties of the job, so it is desirable that you possess of a full and valid driving licence and a car available for work. (Exceptions may be made for disabled applicants).
