Salary: 63,000-80,000
PQE Level: 2-7 PQE
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
An established South East firm seeks a technically strong Real Estate Disputes Solicitor to join a busy, growing disputes team in Guildford or on the South Coast. This is a hands-on litigation role specialising in contentious landlord and tenant work across residential and commercial portfolios, with exposure to leasehold disputes, service charge recovery, possession and forfeiture, lease renewals, enfranchisement and related development and investment matters.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting advocacy and ADR, drafting pleadings and bespoke commercial correspondence, advising on statutory procedures and lease interpretation, and supporting partners on complex litigation. You will be expected to keep files current on the case system, meet contribution targets and take an active role in improving team know-how, processes and client materials.
The role suits a driven solicitor who is be commercially aware and skilled at translating technical law into practical commercial advice. Strong drafting, case management and client-care skills are essential, as is the appetite to contribute to business development activities.
