Real Estate Finance Lawyer | International Law Firm | City of London Our client is a leading international law firm, seeking an ambitious Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join their market-leading and expanding practice in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong lawyer to develop their career in a team recognised for its expertise across the full spectrum of real estate finance transactions. The Opportunity This Real Estate Finance practice advises on high-value, complex domestic and cross-border transactions across all major real estate asset classes. The team acts for a broad client base, including major banks, alternative lenders, institutional investors, developers, property companies and family offices. As an Associate in this team, you will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to a wide range of financing mandates, such as: - Investment and development finance - Hotel and leisure financing - PRS and student accommodation schemes - Logistics and office-sector transactions - Islamic finance and mezzanine structures The team offers first-rate training, hands-on responsibility, and the chance to play a visible role in client relationships and business development. You will join a collaborative, supportive environment known for its strong track record of developing Associates into well-rounded, commercially minded practitioners. Key Responsibilities - Advising on real estate-backed financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers - Drafting, negotiating and reviewing finance documentation - Managing your own matters with appropriate support - Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider banking and real estate teams - Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the practice About You - Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 1 PQE - Solid experience in real estate finance and a strong grounding in general finance principles - Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail - Commercial mindset, sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple deadlines - Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills - Proactive, motivated and enthusiastic about contributing to a high-performing team Why This Firm?
