With the largest practice area in the firm already thriving across multiple offices, this is a unique chance to lead the development of the Newcastle presence while benefiting from the support of a highly experienced wider team.

About the Role

• Lead the growth of the firm's Newcastle-based real estate practice.
• Work with an existing client base - this is not a blank sheet start-up.
• Collaborate with a large, well-resourced real estate team of 30+ lawyers in other offices.
• Enjoy strong cross-departmental support, particularly from banking, funding, corporate, and private client teams.
• Operate with autonomy, shaping the role to suit your ambitions and style.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be:

• Well-established in the North East market with strong local networks.
• Entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and business development-focused.
• Experienced at Legal Director or Salary Partner level (or ready to step up from Senior Associate).
• Technically strong, with wider team support available.
• Portable following is helpful but not essential.
