Job Summary



The National Rifle Association promotes target shooting across the UK, operating ranges, hosting competitions, and delivering nationally recognised training courses from its base at Bisley Camp. Widely regarded as the home of shooting, Bisley is celebrated for pioneering events, hosting world-class competitions, and setting the standard for shooting education nationwide. On the Real Estate side, Bisley Camp encompasses a diverse range of building including lodges, cabins, and caravan pitches--leased to individuals and clubs engaged in shooting activities.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Real Estate Operations Assistant to support the Real Estate Manager and day-to-day operations of our property portfolio, which includes leasehold properties, tenancy agreements, and hut and caravan pitch licences. Reporting directly to the Real Estate Manager, you will help ensure the seamless management of lease agreements, renewals, and resident enquiries--contributing to the efficient and responsive running of our estate.

Key Responsibilities



Tenancy Agreements:

Arrange and facilitate property viewings, coordinate tenancy agreement signing workflows, and initiate repair requests to ensure premises remain in good working order in line with contractual obligations and tenant requirements.

Property Inspections & Maintenance:

Organise routine property inspections with tenants to ensure maintenance aligns with lease terms as well as conducting inspections on licenced property.

Real Estate Committee Meetings:

Coordinate and facilitate meetings by preparing supporting documentation, taking minutes, and ensuring timely submission of items for approval. Ensure that open items are closed on a timely basis

Insurance Schedule:

Manage and maintain an up-to-date register of tenanted property coverage. Support insurance renewal processes as needed.

Lease Management Workflow

: Monitor lease renewal dates, review relevant documentation, and oversee the renewal process managed by our solicitors and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date and completed in a timely manner

Vacancy Marketing & Lease Process:

Advertise and market vacant properties to attract tenants. Support NRA property tender process from initial marketing through to lease completion.

Tenant Communication:

Maintain positive, professional relationships with tenants, leaseholders, and licensees.

Documentation Management:

Maintain all documentation, including contracts, reports, and tenant files--ensuring confidentiality and accuracy

Support Areas



General Administration:

Log tenant requests, update trackers, and coordinate follow-up actions to maintain effective operations.

Policy Development:

Assist in the development and implementation of property management policies and procedures.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Provide support to ensure all leases and agreements comply with H&S regulations.

Financial Support:

Assist with accounts, budgets, KPI and MI for Real Estate

Reporting & Filing:

Support dashboard reporting and general document organisation.

General Assistance:

Provide support to the Real Estate Manager when required including Project Support.

Tenant communication:

Coordinate tenant relations and communication.

Skills & Qualifications



Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Self-motivated and proactive

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills

Confident engaging with diverse stakeholders, tenants, and professionals

Personable and professional, with a friendly and engaging manner

Proficient in using Microsoft Office and standard business software

Previous experience in an operational role
