The Role
Based in Sheffield, you will join the Real Estate Knowledge Counsel team, working closely with Real Estate Transactions, Legal Project Management and Legal Tech/Automation teams.
This role combines traditional knowledge counsel responsibilities with a significant focus on leveraging innovation tools and legal technology to enhance transactional efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Providing legal support and guidance to the Real Estate Transactions team
Maintaining and developing standard documentation
Delivering legal updates on sector developments
Designing and delivering training programs
Innovation Focus: Working with Legal Project Management and Legal Tech teams to implement AI and other legal technologies to streamline real estate transaction processes Requirements
Essential:
Qualified Real Estate Lawyer with 3-5 years PQE Comprehensive knowledge of real estate legal practice and market sectors
Demonstrated experience with legal technology and AI tools (such as Harvey, Orbital Copilot, knowledge management systems)
Strong interest in legal innovation with understanding of basic coding/programming principles
Excellent organizational skills with ability to provide clear, concise legal guidance
Strong market awareness and understanding of client commercial drivers
Outstanding communication, presentation and training capabilities
