The Site Warden is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities on-site, implementing loss prevention strategies, and responding to emergencies. The Site Warden plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance and communication.
Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the site to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
Utilise CCTV systems to observe and record activities, ensuring all areas are adequately covered.
Implement loss prevention measures to deter theft and vandalism.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any actions taken.
Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as required during incidents.
Provide a visible presence on-site to reassure staff and visitors regarding their safety.
Skills
Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Experience with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks or threats.
First aid certification is highly desirable; ability to respond effectively in emergencies is essential.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency services.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in critical situations.
