Job Description


Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Tax Senior Manager to join their award winning dynamic team. As a Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional tax consulting and compliance services to clients across the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest quality service delivery
  • Provide expert tax advice and strategic planning for real estate transactions, acquisitions, and dispositions
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex real estate tax issues, staying up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and trends
  • Collaborate with clients to identify tax optimisation opportunities, mitigate risks, and develop effective tax strategies
  • Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, and related documentation for real estate entities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, working closely to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth tax compliance and reporting processes
  • Assist in business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Stay informed about industry developments and market trends, sharing knowledge and insights with clients and colleagues
Qualifications:
  • CTA or ACA qualified with at least two years of demonstrable real estate tax experience
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax, transactions tax experience and up to date knowledge of regulations pertaining to real estate
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite; familiarity with real estate tax software is a plus
