Real Estate Solicitor Nq+ Newcastle Upon Tyne Leading Regional Firm

Newcastle, United Kingdom

Job Description

Real Estate Solicitor (NQ+) - Newcastle upon Tyne Join one of the North East's leading real estate teams.
We're working with a highly respected, full-service law firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne - a firm known for its partner-led service, exceptional client care, and down-to-earth culture. With a long history and a strong reputation for legal excellence, the firm acts for clients across the UK, including large corporates, developers, healthcare providers, and owner-managed businesses.
Their Real Estate team is ranked Tier 1 in Legal 500, reflecting the quality of work, calibre of clients, and the supportive environment that's been built within the team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor (up to 2 years PQE) to join a dynamic and growing department that handles the full spectrum of commercial property work - from portfolio management to investment transactions, developments, and complex project work.
The Role As a Real Estate Solicitor, you'll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers across a range of sectors, including retail, leisure, investment, and development. You'll gain hands-on exposure to:

  • Landlord and tenant work, acting for significant commercial landlords with large portfolios, retail parks, and shopping centres.
  • Investment acquisitions and disposals, often involving sophisticated investors and multi-property deals.
  • Major projects - including development and restructuring work - collaborating with senior members of the team on some of the region's most high-profile deals.
You'll be supported every step of the way, with genuine opportunities for progression as you develop your technical expertise and build client relationships.
About You
  • NQ to 2 years PQE, with experience gained during a training contract or role within a commercial real estate team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for building long-term client relationships.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and ready to take ownership of your development within a supportive and ambitious team.
Why This Firm? This is a firm that genuinely values its people. They're not driven by unrealistic targets or late-night desk culture - instead, they focus on teamwork, quality, and personal development.
You'll join a firm where:
  • Teamwork, integrity, and client service sit at the heart of everything.
  • People are encouraged to get involved in the community and give back locally.
  • Success is celebrated collectively, and career progression is based on merit.
Benefits Alongside a competitive salary and firm-wide bonus scheme, you'll enjoy:
  • Hybrid working and flexibility.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, enhanced pension, and generous holiday allowance.
  • Clear progression routes within one of the region's most respected real estate practices.
  • The chance to work with some of the best property lawyers in the North East on top-tier matters.
If you're an ambitious real estate lawyer looking to develop your career in a high-quality, supportive environment, this is an excellent opportunity to do so within a Tier 1 team making real waves in the market.
