We are currently seeking a dynamic, organized and customer-focused individual to lead our front desk team as Reception Manager; you should be able to lead by example, motivate your team, possess excellent communication skills and have a 'can do' attitude.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-day operations of the reception area, ensuring smooth, efficient and friendly service.
Supervise, develop and support the reception team
Maintain reception procedures, policies, and standards
Assist in training new team members and implementing new procedures as needed Provide exceptional customer service and confidently communicate with guests
Be up to date and knowledgeable on all rates, packages, promotions and current procedures.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and guest satisfaction.
Handling of room reservations, check-in and checkout procedures, restaurant and spa bookings and any guest enquiries or concerns.
Co-ordination of group bookings, alongside other departments
Dealing with third party booking agents
Handling cash and card transactions, along with balancing of tills
Requirements:
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A positive, pro-active attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service in every interaction.
GCSE Maths and English
Customer Service and Management experience required
