Job Overview


Are you proactive with a passion for excellent patient care? Millview Medical Centre is looking to recruit a motivated and professional reception manager.
Within this role you would support and guide your team to be the first point of contact for our patients, managing appointments and the daily smooth running of the department.

Duties



Lead our dynamic team of staff within reception. Deliver staff induction programmes, including mentoring, training and reviews. Attend practice meetings. Manage your departments working rotas. Deliver staff appraisals and support systems. Support colleague's and mentor others. Support patients with queries and refer appropriately within practice. Be an integral part of the management team liaising with other department managers. Work in line with practice policy and local / National guidance. Support governance within the wider management team.

Qualifications



A good standard of education, with an expectation of having both GCSE Maths and English grade C or above 9 (or recent equivalent scales) Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Leadership or management qualification desirable but not essential

What We are Looking for:



An experienced team manager who can lead a team of experienced staff. Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can work autonomously within the remit of their role A professional with experience in a public facing role. Someone with strong IT skills who is proficient in Microsoft applications, including Teams, power point, excel and word. Someone who can focus and motivate their team to strive for excellence. Experience of working in primary care is an advantage but not essential. An organised person who can multi-task and appropriately disseminate work. Someone with experience in a busy working environment
This role requires a reliable individual who is proactive, professional, and eager to contribute to a positive office atmosphere. All applicants should possess strong organisational skills, be comfortable working with various software tools, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities.
