Reception Manager - Sherwood Dental Care

Lead our front-of-house team and help shape an outstanding patient experience.

Sherwood Dental Care is a well-established, 8-surgery multi-disciplinary dental practice in the north of Nottingham. Based in a large detached property with convenient on-site parking, we are proud of our warm, friendly reputation within the community and our strong, supportive team culture.


Due to an expenasion we are now seeking an experienced and confident Reception Manager to oversee our busy reception team and ensure the smooth and professional running of our front-of-house operations. This is a full-time position, and salary will be dependent on experience.

About the Role

As the face of our practice, you will play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:


Leading, supporting, and developing the reception team Overseeing day-to-day reception operations Maintaining high standards of patient care and communication Managing appointment diaries across a multi-specialist environment Ensuring front-of-house processes run smoothly and efficiently Collaborating closely with wider team

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a strong, experienced candidate who can confidently manage a busy reception area. You should have:


Previous experience in a senior reception role, ideally within dental, medical, or a similar patient-facing environment Proven leadership or supervisory experience excellent communication and organisational skills Experience managing diaries, patient enquiries, and complex scheduling A calm, professional approach with a genuine passion for patient care Strong IT, administration, and multi-tasking abilities
