THE ROLE





The Reception Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house reception operations, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient experience for all guests. This role involves managing the reception team, coordinating guest arrivals and departures, handling reservations and enquiries, and maintaining excellent communication with other departments to support overall club service excellence.


Key Responsibilities




Manage and lead the reception team to deliver exceptional guest service throughout the dining experience. Handle enquiries, bookings, reservations, and guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently and accurately. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the members club's facilities, events, and services to assist members effectively. Ensure all reception procedures, health, safety, and security protocols are rigorously followed. Coordinate communication between reception, kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth and timely service. Oversee billing, payment processing, and account management with accuracy and discretion. Identify opportunities to enhance reception and overall guest experience; contribute ideas for service improvements. Conduct regular team meetings and training to boost staff performance and knowledge. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception environment at all times. Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and club policies.



Requirements Qualifications





Mandatory:


Lawful permanent resident, eligible to work in the UK Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in front-of-house or reception operations, ideally within a luxury restaurant or members club environment Experience with reservation and booking systems Fluent in English

Preferred:


Professional certification Experience with new openings
