Reception Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join the team at a Knowsley Village-based Primary School on a full-time basis, starting on Monday 4th September.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Reception-aged children. They will need to be able to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, whilst also fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning to Reception-aged children
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
• Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback and support where necessary
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in the learning of Reception students
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and wellbeing
• Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider life of the school

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience of teaching in a Reception classroom setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Passionate about education and committed to ensuring that all children achieve their full potential
