Reception Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting for a Full time EYFS Teaching Assistant for a city academy school that is dedicated to providing a high-quality education to the children of our vibrant community. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join the team and help us create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Reception class teacher to plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
  • Provide support and care for children aged 4-5 years.
  • Assist in the development of creative and educational materials.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and record students

Qualifications:
  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.

To join us and be successful in this EYFS role you will need to:
  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 or have relevant experience
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
