Receptionist - The Sands, Scarborough (Full-Time, Permanent)

North Bay Beach, Scarborough

Be part of the award-winning team at The Sands, Scarborough, home to 87 exceptional 5-star luxury self-catering apartments overlooking the stunning North Bay Beach. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy front-of-house operation.

The Role

As a vital member of the reception team, you will ensure every guest enjoys a warm welcome and a smooth, memorable stay from arrival to departure. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing outstanding customer service at all times Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally Handling guest enquiries and coordinating reservations across multiple platforms Processing secure payments via credit card terminals Updating external booking systems and relaying guest information to relevant departments Assisting with shift accounting and end-of-day reporting Supporting sales and revenue initiatives as directed by management
About You

We're looking for a confident and capable individual who brings:

Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles Experience using booking or reservation systems A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to stay organised and composed in a fast-paced environment A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent attention to detail
Hours of Work

40 hours per week on a rota basis Shifts between 8:00am and 10:00pm, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
