Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full team Reception/Administrator who is highly organised and competent to work with our team of Case Managers who are all Health Professionals from varying background to work to work in our NCM head office, Bury.

About the role:




Your main role will be to cover the Reception area and to provide administration support to the team in their role networking services and resources on behalf of our clients to bring about an improvement in our Client's quality of life. This includes assessing, facilitating, planning and advocating for their needs on an individual basis. This ensures that management is Client focused; that the most appropriate services are accessed; and that continuity, consistency and structure are maintained. Our work includes setting rehabilitation goals with Clients and support workers in the home setting; facilitating the client's and family's adjustment to the injuries; recruiting, training and supporting support workers; and managing care regimes.

Working hours: 37.5hr per week 09:00 to 17:30, Mon to Fri Location: NCM Head Office, Unit 13 Brenton Business Complex, Bond Street, Bury, BL9 7BE

What you will be doing:



Principle Duties and Responsibilities



Answer the telephone on behalf of the Organisation ensuring correct messages are taken and distributed accordingly. Deal with general enquiries. Greet visitors and guests, provide refreshments. Keep Reception area clean and tidy. Provide administration and secretarial support through typing duties, audio-typing, photocopying, transferring of data, distribution and filing of all correspondence. Data entry. Manage incoming and outgoing mail on behalf of Organisation, distribute and action as necessary. Co-ordinate the diaries of the Meeting Rooms. Preparing presentational material when required. Arrange co-ordinate and minute various meetings ensuring all relevant paperwork is distributed as necessary. Also arrange any required refreshments, venues, travel arrangements, accommodation etc. Assist with the compilation, collation, production and dispatching of various documents, reports and papers. Liaise with Clients, their families, care/support workers and Solicitors. Share ongoing development of the service/team. Identify and meet own training and development needs. Respond sensitively to the needs of the post. Assist in compile reports on key activities as required. To create and maintain effective working relationships with all staff and stakeholders of the Organisation at all levels. Ensure all visitors to the Organisation are dealt with quickly, efficiently and in a courteous and professional manner, providing refreshments when required. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by NCM, following consultation between NCM and the post-holder.

What you will have:



Person Specification:



IT literate. Use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Flexible, professional and positive approach. Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. Full UK driving licence (preferred, but not essential) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational, time management and planning skills, with a commitment to self-management and continuous personal development. Self-confidence and able to manage challenging situations.

NCM work closely with the client and their family or representative to provide tailored support packages for clients in their own homes and in the community.


NCM has continued to expand to meet the increasing requirement for case management services and now boasts a multi-disciplined team of 10 case managers plus support staff at head office and manages over 250 care/support workers on behalf of Clients. NCM is determined to continually develop in order to provide intervention for as many people as possible.
