25,207.00 per annum (13.85 per hour)



35 hours per week



Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm



Onsite - Marshall Hall, Mill Hill





We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Mill Hill team, responsible for providing a front-line reception/administration service, as well providing support to the Estate Manager and other estate staff.



Your day will be spent undertaking general administrative duties, providing a high standard of customer service to residents, staff visitors and external contacts. This role is a varied and fast paced role that requires someone who can organise and prioritise tasks.


Duties include:

To take responsibility (and to arrange cover when necessary) for the reception desk, acting as a first point of contact for residents, staff, visitors and external contacts. Maintenance of office equipment, ordering stationery, consumables, etc., as required, online and over the phone. Maintaining records manually but also via our IT systems e.g. Business Central and Housing CRM. Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence. Logging maintenance requests and liaising with maintenance team members and contractors regarding repairs to properties. Facilitating communication between the residents and the management team. Taking minutes and notes of meetings as requested and disseminating/ sharing these as per policy, processes and instruction. Process orders and assisting with residents' enquiries or complaints in a polite and courteous manner. Organising and coordinating resident activities. Liaising with Adult Social Care and other agencies to implement the delivery of required services for residents.

We are looking for a caring individual, someone who can demonstrate empathy as well as remaining professional at all times. Ideally, you will have experience in a busy office environment and have a relevant qualification. Previous experience in working with older generation would be beneficial but not essential for the role.

Knowledge/Skills



IT literate including Word and Excel Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people in person and by telephone Numeracy skills Ability to set up and maintain effective computer and manual administrative systems Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and undertake a variety of tasks Ability to prioritise work and ability to work to deadlines Basic health and safety and fire precaution procedures.

You will need to be flexible with working hours as this role requires being part on the on-call rota.
