We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. The ideal candidate will have previous office and administrative experience, along with a passion for helping others in a healthcare setting.
Duties
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
Requirements
Previous office experience is essential; administrative experience within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
Proficient in using computer systems and dental software programmes.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
