Receptionist and Administrative Assistant



Salary: 12.21/hour
12,378.60 per annum

20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Emerson College has a successful history in providing a range of courses from Rudolf Steiner education, medical insights and the arts. There are over sixty beds onsite as well as meeting rooms, workshop spaces and beautiful grounds. In addition to providing high quality courses and workshops, Emerson College promotes venue hire and private functions.

Delivering high levels of customer service, ensuring all guests continue to receive a high-quality guest experience during their visit to Emerson College. You will work closely with the Revenue and Events Manager and administration functions contributing to the continued development of the college offerings.

Evening and weekend working will be required to meet the business and guest needs, as our Reception is open seven days a week.

In this role you will:



Provide a friendly and welcoming reception for all visitors, ensuring relevant information is gathered Answer calls efficiently and ensure information is taken and shared as necessary Maintain the aesthetics of the reception area, always ensuring the area is welcoming and tidy, and the shop is maintained and stocked accordingly Fulfil general administration duties including data entry, incoming and outgoing mail, filing, minute taking facilitate meetings, support with festivals/events/functions as required

We are looking for someone:



Ideally with administration and/or reception experience With excellent interpersonal, communication and organisations skills along with flexibility Able to manage a diverse workload and prioritise accordingly With high levels of motivation and enthusiasm for all tasks
