J&D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd is Scotland's premier steelwork contractor working on some of UK's most exciting construction projects like Anfield Stadium, the National Innovation Centre, and Queen Street Station, changing the skyline of the UK.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Receptionist at our Glengarnock facility.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with a professional and friendly manner
Manage visitor logs and issue visitor badges as required
Maintain accurate records, take clear messages, manage incoming post and deliveries, and ensure documentation reaches the correct teams
Handle correspondence, including letters, emails, and packages
Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks.
Perform ad hoc duties as required in line with the needs of the business.
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
