We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires attention to detail, and proficiency in use of computer and IT.
It is a highly pressurised and very busy environment and so experience in a similar role would be advantageous, though not essential. The hours are Thurs 7.45 - 12.00 and 2 - 6pm and Friday 7.25 - 1.00. You will also be expected to cover Tues 6 - 8pm as part of our Extended hours 1 in 6 weeks.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in a calm and professional manner, ability to converse at ease with patients is essential.
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, and directing calls to the appropriate Clinical and Administrative personnel.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
Perform clerical duties including data entry.
Assist with scheduling appointments and dealing with patients queries.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth running of the Practice
