Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with customer support inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Perform basic data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate meetings and conferences, including room setup and refreshments
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus (for medical receptionist positions)
- Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
