We are looking for a Receptionist that gives a great first impression, skilled in greeting with a smile. The key to this role is being confident and, on the pulse, ridiculously organised, and a bit of a computer wizz. It is very important that as part of the reception and front of house team that you are very much a team player with great inter personal skills, good telephone manner, a flexible attitude and possess a knack for liaising with other departments when and where necessary. Of course, good industry knowledge and some previous experience in a hotel environment is desirable. This role will also include some duty management responsibilities.
The Role:
Checking in and checking out guests
Administrative duties
Telephone duties and email enquiries
Taking bedroom and restaurant reservations
Meeting and greeting guests
Dealing with general enquiries from guests and members
Liaising with other departments where necessary
Preparing function menus, place cards and table plans
Ensuring public areas are clean and presentable at all times
Skills:
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and guest needs
Accuracy in handling reservations, check-ins, and other administrative tasks
Excel at building rapport with guests and members
Positive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised
Weekend availability
Must have own transport
