The Royal George is a newly refurbished pub with rooms in Tintern Wales. Home to beautiful bedrooms, destination dining across multiple outlets, and stunning outdoor spaces. We are looking for a Receptionist to be the face of our front desk operation. You'll manage check-ins, guest queries, booking systems, and everyday details that make the difference between a good stay and a great one. You'll support the Rooms Division team in ensuring everything runs smoothly from warm welcomes to fond farewells.

What you'll be doing:

Welcoming guests, managing check-ins, check-outs, payments and queries

Handling bookings and guest records with accuracy and professionalism

Supporting pre-arrival communications and special requests

Maintaining a clean, organised and guest-ready reception area

Answering phone and email enquiries warmly and efficiently

Collaborating with housekeeping, F&B and the wider team to deliver seamless guest journeys

What we're looking for:

Previous reception experience (desirable but not necessary)

Confident using booking systems and handling payments

Someone with natural warmth, attention to detail, and strong communication skills

Someone who brings positive energy, solutions, and heart to the work

Someone who is calm under pressure and thoughtful in decisions
