We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist to join our customer care team. We are an Independent small animal practice close to Bristol and Bath on the edge of the Mendip hills.
We are a busy local practice, and have been operating for the last 11 years under the same owner.
Reception is the heart of the practice, it consists of being first point of contact for owners, administrative roles, telephone answering, taking payments and dealing with customer queries. There is also some dispensing of medications involved along with stock control. The successful applicant needs to have a good level of IT literacy as we use a range of communication tools such as Digital Practice, emails and a practice management system.
We are a well-equipped practice and have a lovely supportive team. We currently have a Full time position 5 days a week with a shared rota. The working day starts at 8am and finishes at 7.30pm but the shifts share this between team members. We are open Saturday mornings 8am-1pm these are done on a 1:3 basis - there is no out of hours trading.
We are looking for someone who is good with time management, organisational skills, telephone manner and customer care experience. Veterinary experience is preferred but not essential.
