to join us in this exciting opportunity. This is a full time role based out of our

Eight Acres Hotel

property in Elgin.

Situated just one mile from Elgin, the Eight Acres Hotel & Leisure Club is the ideal hotel choice as a perfect Highland Adventure base. The hotel features 52 bedrooms.

What will I be doing?

As a

Receptionist

for the Eight Acres Hotel, we are looking for a charismatic and energetic individual who is responsible for the following tasks;

To be fully conversant with all reception procedures of check-in & out following shift checklist guidelines To be fully conversant with, and be able to operate the hotels front office systems Operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls Responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the public areas by controlling and monitoring heating, lighting, music/tv To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximise hotel sales Ensure a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained To assist with other Front of House tasks

Previous experience in the same or similar role Ability to provide and demonstrate exceptional guest service Positive can-do attitude Previous experience in the hotel industry A good ability to manage business/workflow priorities
