Training is provided on site on how to use the dental software, as well as training on the Orthodontic knowledge required in order to be able to book patients appropriately and answer questions.
Requirements:
Must enjoy working with people
Front of house (customer service) experience of 2 years is preferred
You should have a positive and happy telephone manner
Competent and comfortable on the front desk, and able to co-operate with a large team of healthcare professionals
Should have High Standard of Personal Appearance

Our location has free parking on certain days, bus routes and is close to the Metropolitan Line tube service.
We are fully computerised, using SOE (Exact Software) - knowledge of this system is an advantage
We are a 4 surgery practice with a team of 20 people.
As well as Specialist Orthodontics we offer a wide range of services including Direct Access Hygiene and Facial Aesthetics.
Ealing Dental Specialists has been caring for patients in the heart of Ealing for over 20 years. We are looking for someone who is a team player, hard working and dedicated to make a difference in a healthcare environment, no matter what challenges they face.
Primary Role:
The Orthodontic receptionist is the first and main contact point for patients and visitors to our practice must be well presented. Their role involves greeting patients as they enter the practice and over the phone, answering basic patient questions, booking patients, taking payments and administration duties.
The most important part of this job is looking after the patient and ensuring they have a good experience. That is done by having a friendly and caring nature, whilst being organised and help coordinate their treatment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and care for all patients and visitors to the practice in a polite and courteous manner at all times.
Deal with all enquires, either in person, email or on the telephone in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data protection.
Maintain the record systems of the practice, ensuring patients receive all necessary paper work and all forms are signed and dated correctly and information is up to date.
Deal with incoming patient referrals and book appropriate appointments for patients.
Make courtesy calls to patients.
Ensure the reception is always kept in an appropriate condition.
Promote a professional image of the company at all times and be knowledgeable about the services the practice provides.
Ensure all monies are taken for treatment and manage the retail sales of the practice
Draft letters and reports in accordance with the instructions of the Orthodontists at the practice
Ensure that the practice diary is booked and managed effectively following the appropriate zones
You must be able to provide references on request, one of them from your last employer.
