Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a new receptionist to expand our well-established team and provide the personal touch and high standards of care to our clients, their families, vets and colleagues at our busy, specialist veterinary orthopaedics, neurology and dental centre near Godalming in Surrey.

The right candidate will be an excellent communicator, proactive and resourceful with the ability to deal with a busy and demanding reception desk. We are looking for someone who is efficient, confident and empathetic.

The role includes but is not limited to meeting and greeting patients and their families, answering a high volume of telephone calls, managing busy appointment diaries, booking appointments, liaising with referring vets and other referral centres, dealing with email enquiries, cash handling, updating and maintaining client records and providing support to the triage department.

This is a full-time role working a 40-hour week in line with the company rota. You will also work as part of a 1:4 weekend rota (Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Sunday 10:30am - 4:30pm) with days off in lieu.
