Job Overview:

Kingswood Surgery is a busy GP practice. We are based in a modern purpose-built building with good facilities for patients and staff.
A part-time position has become available for two Medical Receptionists. This is a position which is well suited to an individual who is friendly, organised and self-motivated.

About the Role

Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Resolving patient enquiries/issues with a 'can do' attitude.
Answering patient queries face to face and over the telephone.
Making appointments.
Issuing repeat and acute medication requests that come into the surgery via post, email and online when Prescription Clerk is not in.

About You

Essential:

Primary care experience
Professional and approachable manner.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and prepared to take responsibility for tasks/problems and see them through to completion.
'Can do' attitude.
Computer literate.
Must be flexible and able to cover for staff sickness and annual leave.

Desirable:
Experienced SystmOne user.
Experience working in a GP surgery or other health organisation.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour
