Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for our office in Holt, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for both clients and staff. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and will need to be computer literate with excellent communication skills.

We specialise in multiple areas of law including Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Family Law, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Wills and Trusts, Inheritance Tax advice and Estate Planning, Elderly Client Services, Employment Law, Business and Company Law, Dispute Resolution, and Agricultural Law.

Key Responsibilities:



Meeting and greeting clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Answering and directing all incoming calls and enquiries. Handling all incoming and outgoing post. Taking payments in person or over the phone. Copying & certifying ID from clients. Support the running of the office including testing the fire alarm, stationary orders and purchasing tea/coffee/milk supplies. Supporting the facilities team with external suppliers/contractors. Managing petty cash. Filing and retrieving confidential files as and when required. Providing general support to solicitors and other team members as required.

Key Skills & Experience:



Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and case management software (desirable but not essential). A professional and courteous demeanour with a strong client-focused approach. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
