Receptionist

to be the warm, polished, and professional face of our

Notting Hill salon

-- someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves great hair energy, and knows how to keep everything (and everyone) running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing



You'll be the heart of the salon floor and the go-to for both clients and team alike. Every day is different -- and that's what makes it exciting.

Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:

Front Desk Pro:

You'll greet every guest with a smile, handle bookings (online & phone), manage the schedule like a boss, and keep the salon vibe flowing.

Floor Flow:

Oversee the day-to-day rhythm of the salon, making sure appointments, walk-ins, and stylists are in sync.

Client Experience:

Deliver service that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and elevated -- from first hello to final goodbye.

Retail & Rebooking Support:

Guide clients through their journey, recommend products, and support rebooking -- always aligned with our values, never pushy.

Stock Control:

Stay on top of inventory levels and coordinate with the operations team to keep us fully stocked with everything we need.

Team Support:

Work closely with other front-of-house team members, supporting stylists, apprentices, and colourists alike. You'll also help onboard new FOH team when needed.

Salon Standards:

Help uphold the little details that make the big difference -- cleanliness, presentation, and high standards, always.

Creative Campaigns:

Get involved in marketing activities, client incentives, and fun in-salon events.

Performance Tracking:

Use booking data and sales insights to flag opportunities, spot trends, and help the salon hit targets.

What You'll Bring to the Role

Confident with Tech:

You're comfortable navigating booking systems and have solid skills across Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud-based tools. Salon software experience is a bonus!

Strong Admin Game:

From inbox management to handling daily salon logistics, you're super organised and on top of your admin duties.

Excellent Phone Manner:

You know how to make people feel welcome from the first "hello" -- professional, friendly, and always composed.

Top-Notch Communication:

Whether it's speaking with clients, updating the team, or managing bookings, your written and verbal communication is clear, warm, and on point.

Detail-Oriented & Fast-Paced:

You've got an eagle eye for detail and the ability to stay calm and focused in a busy environment.

Data & Diary Savvy:

You're comfortable with data entry and updating records -- and can manage a packed schedule without breaking a sweat.
