The Lansdowne Club is a private members' Club in Mayfair, London, opening its doors to both men and women in 1935 and thriving today with over 8500 members worldwide. The Club's amenities include: 73 bedrooms, fine dining restaurant, brasserie, cafe, a ballroom, 6 function rooms and top of the range sports facilities including a swimming pool, steam room, squash courts, fencing, gym, studio and treatments.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic
Receptionist
to join the reception team.
Reporting to the Assistant Reception Manager you will be working on Reception and you will be the first point of contact for our members therefore a good level of spoken and written English is essential.
You will be greeting and welcoming the guest/members in accordance with the agreed procedure. As the first point of contact you will also be resolving any member's queries.
Your main duties will include check in/out and taking and inputting reservations for our members within our 73 bedrooms.
The position also includes working within Reservations as well as answering the telephone.
We are looking for people who have had at least one year's previous Hotel/Club Reception experience and enjoy working within this environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
experience in a similar environment and will not be a stranger to multi-tasking in a busy environment
Good command over spoken and written English is essential.
