As receptionist you are responsible for supporting the FOH Manager by welcoming visitors and staff, answering and referring inquiries and handle a variety of administrative support tasks. Be energetic, results-oriented with strong organisational, communication and relationship skills and high standard customer service.
About the Role:
As a Receptionist! you will be responsible for:
Provide a smooth and inspirational service to our clients and visitors.
To support and maintain reception services in a professional way which is recognized by the client and visitors for constantly providing an outstanding 5-star service and presentation
Assist and be the point of contact for customers, visitors and clients
Be fully knowledgeable about the building, the occupiers and services in the area
Ensue knowledge of the site; knowing the opening hours of respective facility, exhibitions and ensuring day to day knowledge of the events taking place in the building.
To maintain and operate the main reception desk and any other tasks related to this area.
Comply with all required systems and protocols including FOH Manual, Assignment Instructions, emergency procedures as stipulated by Wilson James and Francis Crick Institute.
To comply with any administration or reporting processes requested by Front of House Manager and Wilson James management team
Assist Front of House Manager in developing and reviewing site procedures, specific for Front of House.
Provide administrative support to Front of House Manager as directed.
Report & liaise on a daily basis with the Front of House Manager, the teams across the site and the client representative to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the management of a professional service.
To greet all visitors promptly, completing all related reception/security procedures and offering all appropriate services to ensure guests experience a pleasant visit.
Receiving guests, announcing them and escorting them to the waiting area, lift or meeting room if requested.
Ensure all visitors are collected by their host from reception

What we are looking for:
Deliver excellent customer service
Microsoft Office Skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
