Derwen College is recruiting for a part-time receptionist, one day per week.
Main responsibilities
Greeting visitors and directing them accordingly.
Delivering exceptional customer service.
Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls.
Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
Booking meeting rooms.
Maintain campus security by following safety procedures and controlling access beyond reception.
Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
Receiving, sorting and distributing mail and parcel deliveries.
Keeping the reception area clear and tidy.
Performing other clerical duties as requested.
Person Specification
An approachable and friendly manner.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Hands-on experience with office equipment.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive if the need arises.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Flexible.
Approved - one day a week on a Wednesday (8.45 - 5.00)
