Over the past 10 years the brand has expanded into the hospitality sector, operating and continuing to grow a portfolio of stylish pubs including The Fox, The Three Horseshoes, Asthall, The Bell in Charlbury and not forgetting The Wild Rabbit, in Kingham with a Michelin starred chef at the realm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly,

part-time Receptionist

to join our team the team at

The Bell in Charlbury

This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of our pub with rooms where no two days are ever the same.


From greeting guests and managing reservations to supporting our busy front-of-house team, you'll play a vital role in making sure every visitor enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.

SALARY:

12.38 per hour, plus tronc.

HOURS:

20-25 hours, including some weekend days.

Weekly pay planned from October 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be a consistently friendly and professional point of contact to all guests, following protocols with contact over the phone, via email and face to face. To anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond in assisting with requests. Being proactive in your approach to your work at all times. Support Front of House and be an all-rounder for guest services . To build an in-depth knowledge in operating a range of systems including our PMS (Opera), & other systems used within the business including, but not limited to, ResDiary, MindBody and Microsoft Office. To work closely with other departments to ensure service & our guest experience is seamless across the business. Ensure payments are processed accurately and with confidence and discretion. To have a positive and energetic attitude, contributing to a pleasant working atmosphere. To enjoy a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible to a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to, administrative and operational duties. To ensure all front office working areas are kept clean and tidy throughout shift, including company vehicles. To be an ambassador and knowledgeable about the Bamford Collection.
