We are a dynamic, solution driven Facilities Management team with high quality service at the forefront of everything we do. The Facilities team creates and provides our people with an engaging workplace experience. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join the London team.

This is a part-time position (20 hours) which will cover the Reception desk in our London office from 5-9pm, Monday-Friday.

We are looking for a receptionist with a corporate background. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with great organisational skills, dedicated and committed to making a positive impact on our office environment and providing our people with a first class service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To provide a warm courteous and prompt welcome on arrival for all visitors at the reception desk.
  • To handle all incoming telephone calls / enquiries promptly giving a warm, courteous welcome.
  • To aid with meeting room bookings as required and to liaise with relevant parties to ensure the delivery of a professional service.
  • To liaise and communicate with the Facilities team members and other service departments in a clear and timely manner to ensure service delivery and team work.
  • To ensure the Facilities Manager is made aware of any maintenance issues requiring attention in the reception area and visitor Suite.
  • To maintain an organised and tidy work area - this is to include the front desk, seating area, meeting rooms and kitchen areas
  • To anticipate people\'s needs, follow up with requests and ensure the expectations are not only met but exceeded.
  • To ensure that visitor arrivals are communicated to the relevant people promptly and that the visitor is either met or escorted to the relevant room in a timely fashion.
  • To ensure that waiting visitors are kept informed and ensure client/visitor comfort.
  • To replenish meeting rooms, as required, with pads, pens and pencils, and refreshments.
  • To ensure that all required hospitality is served promptly and to the highest standards.
  • To ensure all audio visual equipment is working and provide support when required.
  • To maintain appropriate stationery stocks throughout the office.
  • To always work in a safe manner and report any hazards to the local Facilities Manager immediately.
Requirements:

This is an ideal position for someone approachable and enthusiastic! You will need close attention to detail, ability to juggle a range of tasks in a frontline role and first class customer service skills. A proactive approach will need to be taken to ensure the prompt resolution of all day-to-day opportunities.

To qualify for the role you must have:
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist in a corporate environment.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to operate calmly under pressure with a strong customer focus.
  • A professional and organised approach to the role.
  • A logical mindset, with the ability to spot errors and resolve queries using your own initiative
