Flowery Dell Lodges is a small business in Hudswell, DL11 6BD. We are seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our Team at Flowery Dell Lodges. We are based on the outskirts of Hudswell with 17 self catering lodges. The role requires you to deal with guests and suppliers in a friendly, courteous and welcoming manner. You will be required to have excellent service skills, along with telephone and IT skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service to all guests and callers.
Responsibilities
Undertake reception duties, including welcoming and attending to guests needs, to ensure a professional customer service experience.
Deal with guests on their arrival and departure, taking them through the arrival procedures, health and safety during their stay in a professional and courteous manner.
Manage email correspondence and respond to enquiries.
Deal with queries, information throughout guests stay, arranging activities they may require, or queries regarding the area and things to do during their stay.
Answer and direct phone calls promptly.
Tidy and clean the reception area.
Report any maintenance, breakages to the relevant manager.
Undertake any training as required.
To adhere to all health and safety procedures and assist in the evacuation process in the event of a fire.
To keep the website special offers/late availability up to date.
To help out with marketing including social media.
You may be required to help the Housekeeping Supervisor/Laundry Assistant.
Any other duties that may be required.
Requirements
Driving Licence is not essential but we are located in a rural location with no bus service.
Previous Receptionist experience in a hospitality role is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, on a rota basis.
Good eye for detail.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
This is a physical role.
